ST BRIGID’S DAY    Mass  in preparation for St Brigid’s day on Tuesday, 30th January at the Shrine at 7.30 p.m.   Wednesday, 31st January at the Shrine at 7.30 p.m.  St Brigid’s Day    mass at Shrine at 10.00 a.m.  Annual torch light procession takes place on Thursday, the Feast Day, at 8.00 p.m. on Faughart Hill.  Please assemble at Faughart Hill at 7.45 p.m.  As parking on the hill is very limited please leave cars at Shrine car park.  Procession will be held regardless of weather.  We would appreciate if more volunteers in bright jackets would come to help organise the walkers from “hill to shrine”.

TOM’S SOCCER ACADEMY    Starting on Monday, 22nd January in Kilcurry Resource Centre.  For more details contact Tom O’Hare on 085 7408 710.  Places limited and must be booked first.  Mondays 6.00 to 7.00 p.m. for 7 to 9 year olds     7.00 to 8.00 p.m. for 10 to 12 year olds   Fridays 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. for 7 to 9 year olds   8.00 to 9.00 p.m. for 10 to 12 year olds.

SOCIAL DANCING on Saturday, 10th February.  Music by Twice Shy.  Dancing  9.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m.

ARMAGH DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES    12th to 17th May, 2018.  Faughart Lourdes Committee has been allocated a limited number of places on the above Pilgrimage.  Applications are invited from all those who wish to travel.  Assisted pilgrims wishing to travel must complete a medical application form with their own Doctor which will be forwarded to the Medical Director of the Pilgrimage.  All application forms and full details may be obtained from the Priests of the Parish and Committee Members.  Any new people wishing to travel to Lourdes as helpers would be greatly appreciated.

CRAFT NIGHT on Tuesdays in the Resource Centre 7.30 to 9.00 p.m.  Join us for craic and cuppa.  Everybody welcome.

FAUGHART SOCIAL GROUP meets on Monday next, 29th January at 7.30 p.m.  We are arranging day trips and take names for break to Wexford on 15th April, 2018.
