We congratulate Nicola Duffy and Stephen Callan who were married this weekend.

Parish Breakfast Morning takes place next Sunday 27th May from 9:30a.m. to 1p.m. in Kilcurry Resource Centre.  Donations of home made brown bread would be greatly appreciated,  it may be left in the Parochial House on Saturday evening. All volunteers please attend a meeting on Wednesday 23rd at 7:30p.m. in Parochial House.

Love them both: As we all know we are to vote next Friday.  We pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance as we know the precious gift of life is from the first moment of conception until the moment of natural death.  Archbishop Eamonn Martin has asked that when you go to the booth to vote to think of these words ‘from the first moment of life’ and also ‘think of two lives – the mother and her baby’.  Choose life for them both.

Congratulations to our Holy Communion children from Scoil Eoin Baiste who received the Bread of Life on Saturday.  Thanks to the parents for their co-operation with the ‘do this in memory of me programme’, the teachers and the church sacristan.

Faughart Social Group will have story telling with Marie Carton on Monday at 7:30p.m.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: We all find ourselves in times of need throughout our lives.  If you or your family are in that situation today why not contact St. Vincent de Paul on 0872520382.

Kilcurry Graveyard:  The blessing of the graves is taking place on Sunday 3rd June.  We ask you all to take your rubbish home and please do not dump anything anywhere in the graveyard.

Creative Writing Classes coming soon for adults of all ages.  If you love expressing yourself through words or long to get stories out of your head and onto the page, this is for you.  Content will include, short stories, blogs, novel/book structure (how to turn your ideas into a book), copyright, write articles, get published and get paid, how to professionally ‘pitch and get commission, writing for leisure or cash, or both.  If interested call 0876576996 for info.
