WE PRAY FOR The happy repose of the Very Rev. Brian Hackett who served as Curate in Faughart Parish from 1968 to 1981. We have very fond memories of him – may he rest in peace. Funeral Mass on Monday 8th October in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Ballygawley and burial afterward in Garvaghy cemetery.
CONGRATULATIONS TO Emma Coleman & David Dunne and to Lynne Conroy and Niall Thornton who were married this weekend.

KERLA CALLS FOR HELP – The state of Kerla in India has been seriously affected by floods and landslides. People have lost their homes and essential possetions (including the families of our priests ministering here in Ireland). Financial help is urgently needed. A second collection will be taken up on 20th and 21st October. Donations both large and small will be greatly appreciated.
COFFEE MORNING In aid of hospice on Sunday 14th October in Kilcurry resource centre. Lots of raffles etc. Baking and donations appreciated. For details contact Margaret Murphy on 042 933 1362.
