Have Your Say – Catholic Primary Schools

For parents of children attending Primary School or yet to start:

The Department of Education is currently conducting a Primary School Survey which will determine the future provision of primary schools and could result in lasting changes in your school.

In simple terms, you are being asked whether you want your school to remain a Catholic school or if you would prefer that to change.

Please don’t leave it to others — have your say before 16 December 2025.

We Pray for the Happy Repose

Of Rosemary Reilly, Maeve Farrelly, Kevin Robinson and Winnie Tinnelly, who died during the week.
May they rest in peace.

Dundalk Simon Community

Collection will take place on 20th & 21st December.

Poinsettias

In remembrance of our loved ones this Christmas, you are welcome to place poinsettias in front of the altar in your church.

This Weekend – Bambinelli Sunday

Families are invited to bring the Baby Jesus figurine from their crib to Mass to be blessed.

The figurine can be brought home, wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree.
On Christmas morning, this is the first gift the family opens together before placing Baby Jesus into the crib at home.

Advent Family Prayer

God of Love, your Son Jesus is your greatest gift to us.
He is a sign of your love.
As we light our Advent candle, may it remind us of the love you have for us.
Help us to walk in love during the weeks of Advent as we prepare for his coming.
We pray in the name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen.
