Parish Notice
Please note that there will be no Mass in Castletown on Monday evening.
First Friday Calls
Anyone wishing to receive a First Friday visit is asked to contact the Parish House to make arrangements.
Welcome into Our Christian Community

Society of African Missions (SMA) Appeal
A priest from the Society of African Missions (SMA) will visit the parish on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August, speaking at all Masses about the work of the Society and Mission Awareness.
Mission envelopes will be available after each Mass for those who wish to support the missionary work of the SMA. Completed envelopes may be returned to the parish the following weekend.
St Vincent de Paul Collection
The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) will hold their church gate collection this weekend. Thank you, as always, for your generosity towards those in need within our local community.
Roche Tractor Run
The annual Roche Tractor Run takes place on Sunday 2nd August, departing from Roche Emmets at 2.00pm.
This year’s event is raising funds for North Louth Hospice and Praxis Care. Everyone is encouraged to come along and support this excellent community fundraiser.
Mary’s Supreme Apostolate
A Mass for Healing, especially for those bereaved through suicide, will take place on Friday 7th August at 6.00pm in St Joseph’s Church, Castletown.
Everyone is welcome.
Funeral Notice
The Funeral Mass of the late Monica Singh (née McArdle), formerly of 6 Fatima Court, will be celebrated on Saturday 8th August at 1.00pm in St Joseph’s Church, Castletown.
Please remember Monica and her family in your prayers.
May she rest in peace.
Faughart Social Group
The Faughart Social Group will meet on Monday 10th August at 2.00pm in Kilcurry Resource Centre for an afternoon of tea, conversation and friendship.
New members are always welcome.
