Farewell Gathering – Sunday, 11th October
All parishioners are warmly invited to give Fr. Oliver a fitting send-off at Kilcurry Resource Centre, following the 11:00am Mass in Kilcurry on Sunday, 11th October.
Everyone is welcome to come along and wish Fr. Oliver well before he takes up his new role in Rome.

🕯️ Holy Souls – November Remembrance
As we approach November, the month in which we especially remember our deceased loved ones, Holy Souls envelopes are available in all churches this weekend.
Parishioners are invited to complete their list of deceased family members and friends, together with their donation, and return it to the Parochial House or church.
🌍 World Mission Sunday – 18th October
October is traditionally a month of special awareness and support for the Church’s missionary work throughout the world.
World Mission Sunday takes place on Sunday, 18th October, when the faithful are invited to show their appreciation and support for overseas missionaries.
A special collection will take place on that date.
🍲 Faughart Lourdes Fundraising Event
Sunday, 8th November 2026
The Faughart Lourdes fundraising group invites everyone to join them after Mass for an enjoyable community gathering featuring:
- A hearty bowl of soup
- Bric-a-brac stall
- Raffle for a large food hamper
The organisers look forward to welcoming everyone once again and sincerely thank parishioners for their continued generosity and support.
🌿 Kilcurry Tidy Town Group – Protecting Our Native Hedgerows
Kilcurry Tidy Town Group has organised an information evening entitled:
“Protecting Our Native Hedgerows”
Date: Wednesday, 21st October 2026
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Community Centre, A91 PY22
Guest Speaker: Breffni Martin, Conservationist and Ecologist.
This informative talk will explore the importance of protecting and conserving our native hedgerows.
