Faughart Lourdes Coffee Morning this Sunday 8th April in aid of Lourdes Group from 10a.m.  Luxury Hamper and other prizes in raffle. Donations of  baked goods and items for the raffle will be very welcome.  Committee meeting Tuesday at 8p.m. in the Parochial House.


Faughart Social Group will have story telling with Pat McKenna on Monday night 9th.

Roche Emmets:  Due to renovations  taking place in the Club Rooms the Cupan Tae for April has been cancelled.   It will take place again on Tuesday 8th May.  Everyone welcome.


Catholic Young Adult Conference (aged betweed 18-40) being held at Sienna Centre, St. Malachy’s Friary, Anne Street, Dundalk on Saturday 14th April from 9a.m. to 5.15p.m.  All are welcome. Lunch €10. This is a Legion of Mary project.  Contact Noreen on 0857617058.


The HSE is running a Weight & Lifestyle Management programme in Primary Care Centre, Barrack Street, Dundalk.  This six week programme is free to the general public and runs during the day and will start on Wednesday 18th April.  For more information or to book a place please contact Breda McEneaney on 0426820001 (9.30a.m. to 1p.m.)

Home Energy improvement Grants:  Was your  home built before 2006?  If so it could be eligible for grant aided assistance in order to upgrade energy efficiency.  Items such as insulation, heating systems, window replacement etc are all covered, grants will range from 30% to 80%.  A public information meeting with a presentation from the energy team on behalf of Louth sustainable energy will take place in Kilcurry Resource Centre at 7:30p.m. on Tuesday 17th.  It will be aimed at householders and businesses.  This event is sponsored by Cuchullain Credit Union.  We would urge people to come along on the night and get the information first hand on how to save money in your home.
