Social Dancing in Resource Centre on Saturday 11th August.  Music by Unity.  Dancing 9pm to 12am.  Supper will be served.   All welcome.

Kilcurry Tidy Towns Group The Litter League judging by Louth County Council takes place every 2 weeks over the summer holidays.  We ask for your help to keep your area litter free for the summer holidays. Please do what you can to keep your boundary clear of litter.  Thank you all for your efforts over the years.

Knock  Shrine  Sr. Briege McKenna and Fr. Kevin will hold a National day of prayer for priests on Monday 6th August (Bank holiday Monday) Bus leaves from Friary church, Dundalk at 7.45am.  For details please contact Phil on 086 0638452.

Relics of Family of Saints to visit St. Patricks Cathedral, Armagh  As we look forward to the World Meeting of Families, relics of Saints Louis and Zelie Martin and their daughter St. Therese of Lisieux (The Little Flower) will visit the Cathedral on Sunday 12th August arriving for the 11am  Mass until Monday 13th August.  During that time people will have an opportunity to come and venerate the Relics of the family that embodies what is best in family life and offer a wonderful example of what a family can become.

Prayer for the Family Father in Heaven you called Saints Zelie and Louis Martin to holiness through their married life.  You gave them as Guide us as citizens to make the kind of decisions that will support family life. Mother and Father to St. Theresa of Lisieux.  Through their intercession, we ask you to bless married couples, bless their children and grandchildren. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.   Amen.

Family Camp Night Saturday 25th August.  €40 per Tent pitch.  Limited spaces. Must be booked and confirmed before 23rd August.  Forms available in Resource Centre and Creche.

Many thanks to the Kilcurry Choir on the beautiful music and singing last weekend at the LMFM recorded Mass.  We really appreciate all your hard work and practice.

Agenda for Parish Pastoral Council Meeting To launch the wold meeting of families, the Archdiocese of Armagh will host an opening festival on Tuesday 21st August starting at 5pm. In the Shambles Market.  Free to all it promises to be a joyful, fun celebration for all ages, shapes and sizes, and includes a wide range of activities.  At 7pm there will be a procession form the Market to St. Patricks Cathedral followed by music and evening Prayer from 7.30pm to 8.15pm.

Cupan Tae Roche Emmets  on Tuesday 14th August.  We are hold the event downstairs now, so this will enable people who don’t like to climb stairs to come along.  All welcome.
