Invitation to 150th Anniversary Celebrations of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh
This August, in the Archdiocese of Armagh, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first dedication of St Patrick’s Cathedral which took place on 24 August 1873.Archbishop Eamon invites you to take part in the celebrations. You are invited to an outdoor Festival of Families on Thursday, 24 August, in the Shambles Yard, Armagh, between 5.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m., which will include music and entertainment for all the family. Evening Prayer will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cathedral at 7.30 p.m.
To conclude the celebrations, you are also invited to a Mass of Thanksgiving in the Cathedral on Sunday, 27 August at 11.00 a.m. Cardinal Timothy Dolan, from St Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, will be the main celebrant.

Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
