MASS AT FAUGHART SHRINE 15TH AUGUST: Bishop Michael Router will be celebrating mass on Tuesday the 15th Aug in the Oratory at 7pm (Holy Hour 6pm). During the Mass a section of a ‘Vocations Cross’ will be blessed in each Diocese and displayed during a special Mass in Knock Shrine on August 17th, the Feast of Our Lady of Knock.  For more info on Vocations www.armaghpriest.com

Invitation to 150th Anniversary Celebrations of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh: This August, in the Archdiocese of Armagh, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first dedication of St Patrick’s Cathedral which took place on 24 August 1873.Archbishop Eamon invites you to take part in the celebrations. You are invited to an outdoor Festival of Families on Thursday, 24 August, in the Shambles Yard, Armagh, between 5.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m., which will include music and entertainment for all the family.  Evening Prayer will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cathedral at 7.30 p.m.
To conclude the celebrations, you are also invited to a Mass of Thanksgiving in the Cathedral on Sunday, 27 August at 11.00 a.m.  Cardinal Timothy Dolan, from St Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, will be the main celebrant.

KILCURRY TIDY TOWNS GROUP:A person has been identified dumping a green bag of grass clippings last weekend at the bottle bank.  Be aware that we have CCTV  in the area.
