COFFEE MORNING: In aid of the parish funds will be held in Kilcurry Community Centre on Sunday 5th November 2023 @ 10am to 2pm. All welcome. A one-off draw for €300, €200 & €100 will take place during the coffee morning. Draw cards will be issued shortly. €2 per line, 3 lines €5, full card €20.

FUNDRAISING MEETING: Can all our Parish Volunteers please attend the meeting on Wednesday 20th Sept at 8 pm at the Parish  house?  We welcome new volunteers.

Fr William Stuart from the Rosminians will be speaking at all masses about the work he is doing in Lebanon.  Fr William runs a school for Syrian children, refugees from the war, who now live in Lebanon.  A second collection will be taken up after the communion for Fr William’s work in Lebanon.

Parish Pastoral Council meeting next Tuesday at 7.30 pm at the Parish House.

Evangelium Ireland will host its next Apologetics Conference for young Catholics at The Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork City on Saturday, 7 October beginning at 11.00am and concluding at 4.30pm. The theme of the conference is Towards Lifelong Formation. Speakers: Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan Defending the Faith in the Public Square; Fr Eamon Roche ‘Until Christ be Formed in You’ – A Roadmap for Catechesis and  Christian Formation; Fr Patrick Cahill Studying Discipleship at the School of Mary. The Totus Tuus Men for Christ Conference 2023 – a Catholic Conference for Men will be LIVE & EXCLUSIVE on Radio Maria Ireland Saturday 16th September from 2pm.  Speakers for this years Conference are  Fr. Billy Swan, Fr. Chris Hayden, Anthony Crossey & Fr. John Harris OP.

BOWLS  CLUB: Start this year’s activities on Tuesday night  next 5th September from 8 to 10pm in the Community Centre.

CONNOLLY SCHOOL OF IRISH DANCE:  classes begin Community Centre Thursday August 31st 5.30pm to 6.30pm.  New dancers welcome.
